Our Project manager
conducts a survey of the work site to identify the confined spaces.
There is also proper identification and re-evaluation of
the hazards based on possible changes in activities, and other physical
or environmental conditions that could affect the work.
Before one of our
techinicians enters the confined space, the internal atmosphere is tested with
a
calibrated, direct-reading instrument. All precautions such as proper respiratory
equipment and
permits are used if hazardous atmosphere is detected during entry.
